In recent 5 years, I have being focusing on the research of High-energy supercapacitor (HESC) and Wide-temperature Li-ion electrolyte. The obtained novel supercapacitor possesses 90Wh/kg by energy density and 22kW/kg by power density based on the whole device. The developed electrolyte could meet the requirement of -45~55℃ environment, which has been used in the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) starting power supply, trams and specific uses for energy recovery and power compensation.
As the key R&D staff of National Engineering Research Center for Supercapacitor for Vehicles, I have participated in the National Key R&D Program and several projects from Province or Ministry. To date, 6 research papers involving carbon materials, supercapacitors and lithium ion batteries were published. Over 10 patents were disclosed and of which 4 were authorized. There are also 2 drafted standards referring to the electric storage applicable supercapacitor products.
